Introducing the Motic BA300POL Polarizing Microscope Available in early 2008, the BA300POL is available in binocular and trinocular configurations at very competitive prices. The packages include the accessories needed for student teaching labs in universities, asbestos monitoring labs, and geological surveys.
Features:
Strain-free optics — the strain-free objectives and condenser provide superb optical clarity
Polarizer and Analyzer — the polarizer mounts under the condenser, and the analyzer permits 360 degrees of rotation to provide extinction and other angles of alignment
Koehler Illumination — a field diaphragm is included to permit alignment of the condenser for optimum optical performance
Transmitted Light Illuminator — a bright 30W halogen light source is included with a built-in transformer and rheostat knob to control intensity
Compensator plates — optional tint plates, quarter wave retardation plates, and quartz wedges are available to complete advanced polarized light techniques

BA300POLT — the trinocular package includes 10X eyepieces (one with crosshair and measuring scale), an intermediate tube with 360 degree rotatable analyzer and focusable Bertrand lens, quadruple reversed-style nosepiece with individually adjustable positions for concentricity during stage rotation, strain-free EF Plan 4X, 10X, 40X and 60X objectives, 360 degree rotatable stage with XY slide movement, Swing Out Achromat NA 0.90 Condenser, 30W halogen light source with built-in transformer and rheostat, blue filter, allen key and dust cover from $3600
BA300POLB — the binocular package includes the exact same items as the BA300POLT, except for the binocular head replaces the trinoc from $3400
